Application:
Tests for iron content in the raw water or process water. This is a very important parameter in Laundry, Cleaning in Place, Ware Washing, Manufacturing, Drinking Water, and many other processes. Iron, usually reduced in underground water, will be oxidized by exposure to air causing stains and precipitation on surfaces in which the deposits can lead to localized corrosion of pipes and equipment, and staining. High iron gives a foul taste to drinking water and needs to be removed during drinking water conditioning. This test is necessary to select the correct equipment for processing the water.
